The Tenuta Vergaia vineyards extend over 10 hectares at an altitude of 80-90 meters above sea level. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot vines are trained in the spurred and cordoned method following traditional Tuscan winemaking practices. Our vines are cultivated organically with a planting density of 4,600 vines per hectare. We have a sandy clay, gently pebbled soil ideal for Bordeaux varietals.
